7.0’s journey kicked off at Pursuit HQ as they acquired the tools and technology that are essential for their success in the Pursuit Fellowship. They picked up their laptops and monitors, took home swag bags complete with a white board, markers, and Pursuit apparel; and got their class headshots taken for our Pursuit Transformation Wall.
They also became new parents to rubber ducks — an engineering tradition called “rubber duck debugging.” When Fellows encounter a coding problem, they will explain their code, line by line, to a rubber duck they “adopt.”

Next, our Fellows participated in 7.0 Launch Week and became official members of the Pursuit community. This week of sessions, panel discussions, and meet and greets was critical for building community and highlighting our values and expectations — especially as we kicked off the Pursuit Fellowship virtually for the first time.
Launch Week was possible through a One Big Team effort. Everyone from volunteers and industry experts, to Pursuit alumni and staff came out in support of our Fellows.
