Android Apps

Eight months ago, our Android Fellows came into our program with little or no coding experience. But they had a few things that are fundamental to success: grit, hustle, and determination.

You can see these qualities in their mastery of our rigorous technical curriculum, their ability to overcome difficult challenges, and their design of their first full-featured apps—products that are now available for download in the Google Play Store.

Take a closer look at what they’ve built.

AR You Learning is an app that uses augmented reality to get kids on their feet and learning how to spell. With the tap of a phone, 3D objects come to life that users can then spell out. Once they’ve completed a particular spelling challenge, users can send their results to their parents or friends and keep track of their progress.
