Business Development Strategist
As Pursuit’s Business Development Strategist (Partnerships & Philanthropy) you will Identify, thoroughly research, and draft detailed briefings new prospective foundation and corporate leads. For corporate leads this includes mapping out relationships, departments, and cross-functional objectives within each firm. Draft communications and outreach materials on behalf of the Director of Institutional Giving and Relations, as well as the CEO. Utilize Salesforce to generate reports, dashboards that track progress toward annual fundraising goals and generate contact lists. Assist with site visits, and org-wide events as needed. As Pursuit's Strategic Proposal Writer, you will be responsible for creating high-quality proposals, impact reports, and additional partner-facing materials focused on direct revenue solicitation. Critical to the proposal process, this BD writer will develop positioning and framing of products, programs, projects, budgets, and outcomes to fit each partner and opportunity. Pursuit is building an innovative financial product known as the Pursuit Bond which aims to directly connect capital markets and training organizations through an outcomes-based model. The Pursuit Bond is poised to play a pivotal role in our growth strategy over the next decade and will be a key driver for scale t and a business capable of serving other training and educational institutions. As the first Data, Insights and Partnership Manager for the Pursuit Bond you will focus on ensuring data integrity in order to build the prototype for a newly forming team and function. General Manager, Core
The GM Core will be responsible for expanding an existing Core team across all levels (entry level through VP), including instructors, product managers, program managers, strategists, tech integration leaders and more. They will work closely across the leadership team, and especially with the GM, Enterprise and GM, Bond services to help develop industry-facing products. This is a critical role to enable Pursuit to meet our future growth and impact.

We are expanding our programs to reach even more individuals from low-income backgrounds, and we need more Technical Coaches (Instructors) to train them. Our instructional staff plays a vital role in Pursuit’s mission by teaching our Fellows the technical and coding skills necessary for their future as software engineers. But beyond that, our instructors are truly instrumental in helping our fellows change their lives, by instilling the confidence and re-enforcing the persistence they will need to embark on this new career path.

Pursuit is hiring an Employment Manager to support our program participants, Fellows, and aid them to successfully navigate the job search process and get their first jobs as software engineers. The majority of this role will be delivering workshops and providing coaching and feedback to Fellows on their personal branding, job applications, and networking. This role will also be instrumental in helping to design and implement a scalable and replicable career coaching function that enables Pursuit to meet our five-year strategy.

As the Head of Core Product at Pursuit, you'll lead the design and strategy of our core training product, pivotal in helping Fellows achieve economic transformation, building a replicable program model, and facilitating Pursuit’s 5 year growth objectives. The Head of Core Product is responsible for packaging the Fellowship into a replicable product, including leading the design of an immersive Fellowship experience tailored to empower individuals from underserved backgrounds to thrive as tech industry leaders and incorporating the latest AI developments into Fellowship content and delivery. The Senior Visual & Communications Designer will help us progress our work by bringing ideas to life visually. You’ll translate thoughts and ideas into compelling visuals, narratives, and designs. Director of Policy
As Pursuit’s first Director of Policy, you'll play a pivotal role within our newly established External Affairs team, spearheading Pursuit’s policy and legislative goals. Your primary responsibility will be to drive the entire policy development process reporting directly to the SVP, Policy and External Affairs, from comprehensive research, to policy recommendations, white papers, memos and other collateral, and stakeholder engagement. Working closely with a small team based in Long Island City, your mission will be to elevate Pursuit’s workforce development and financing model as a national standard, advocating for it at all levels of government.
