We have clearly stated the purpose of the Pursuit Users Site. The first rule of order is to use common sense and keep your use of the forums in line with that purpose. Here are some more pointed guidelines for our forums.

We reserve the right to reject your registration or terminate your privilege to use the forums at any time for any reason in our sole and absolute discretion.

You must interact with other users in a generally civil manner. All postings should be Christian in spirit and family-oriented or “G-rated” in content.

If we provide written or verbal communication to you, you must treat such communications confidentially and you shall not post those communications in the forums or on the Internet.

In connection with your access and use of the site, you must take reasonable steps to ensure against the introduction of viruses, worms, or other programming routines.

Examples of matters which we determine to be inappropriate or objectionable and violate this agreement include, without limitation, the following:

Unlawful Conduct: Promoting, advocating, or otherwise engaging in any conduct, activities, or fraudulent schemes that would violate any applicable law.

Profanity and Harassment: Providing any information or content in any postings that: (i) is sexually oriented, indecent, profane (including masked profanity where symbols, initials, intentional misspellings or other characters are used to suggest profane language), obscene, pornographic, abusive, threatening, untrue, misleading, illegal, or defamatory; (ii) interferes with the ability of others to enjoy the use of the forums or any portion thereof; or (iii) is irrelevant to the legitimate purposes of the forums. In addition, if you harass or denigrate other persons based on age, gender, race, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, or disability.

Personal Information of Third Parties: Providing in any postings or otherwise in the forums any personal information about other members or persons, such as their phone number, street or e-mail address, or other personal information that could result in an invasion of their privacy or their harassment, without such person’s prior written consent.

Spam: Cross-posting the same message in multiple forums and gathering public e-mail addresses from member profiles for any purpose.

Proprietary Rights of Third Parties: Do not (i) infringe or violate any copyright, trademark, contract, or other personal or proprietary rights of a third party, (ii) improperly disclose any confidential or proprietary information of any third party, (iii) otherwise violate the legal rights of any third party, or (iv) distribute unauthorized copies of copyrighted materials.

Promotions and Solicitations: Soliciting or promoting any products or services, self-promotion (this includes your contact details including addresses and telephone numbers), or imploring readers to take actions that are intended to further a personal gain or purpose, without our prior written consent, which may be given or denied in our sole and absolute discretion.

Additional Inappropriate Conduct:

:: Impersonating any other member or person.

:: Disruptive conduct, such as off-topic comments in a topic-oriented discussion or posting the same message in multiple places throughout one or more forums (i.e. spamming).

:: Modifying any materials, data, or information provided by or to another member or person.
