Pursuit Campaign Stories and Testimonies 12/6/2007 9:51 AM | Campaign Stories We're hearing back from some of the hundreds of churches that have used a Pursuit Campaign as a catalyst for spiritual growth in their church. Here’s a taste of what we’re hearing. From time to time, we’ll be dropping some stories in the blog.
“I’m thankful that these types of resources are available for smaller churches. They really helped us do something we couldn’t afford to do on our own and do it with excellence.”
Ralph Eaton, Senor Pastor
New Life Community Church
“We thoroughly enjoyed the MADE campaign at Our Savior Lutheran Church. It has been a real blessing! We grew in many ways- service involvement skyrocketed; our small groups went from 130 participants to 260 participants! Six of our seven new small groups are continuing to meet. We want to say ‘Thank You’ for the materials and for sharing this blessing with us and others.”
Jerry Rosamond
Our Savior Lutheran Church
“Every church would benefit from the WHY> campaign because it teaches the basics of what we believe in. Each topic was clear and easy to understand. We thought it was excellent.”
Ken Gemeinhart
Englewood Christian
“The WHY> study got peoples attention and the participation level was a lot higher than our other studies. The study touches a nerve where people are.”
Pastor Paul Thompson
First Baptist of Jensen Beach
“Overall, MADE was very positive. Those who were serving God felt better equipped. Served everybody well.”
Kathleen Loughrige
Crossroads Church and Ministries
“Two responses echo in my mind as I reflect upon the impact of MADE on those with whom I have shared it. The first is “where is the towel and basin, I have a lot of feet to wash.” The second person said, “I have sat and soaked far too long. I must serve!” Here are two people from different walks who have experienced life-change at the very core of who they are."
Larry Megason
Hutto Baptist Church
After a recent interview with Kevin Herd of South Mountain Community church we discovered what an impact the WHY> campaign had on this church. They saw success for launching small groups, momentum of asking questions, and it was helping people to challenge them to take the next step. They have also had 46 people make decisions and it started from the WHY> campaign. They also went from 350 to 500 adults in small groups. Amazing!
More to come! Check back often.
